Verizon Aol Mail Outlook For Mac 2011

How do I check and/or change the security settings in Mail for my AOL account? I received a message from AOL stating, ' that your current third party email application (Mail) is not using the latest, secure mail connection settings.' I checked and it's not SPAM.

These are the settings I need to have, but I can't see how to check and modify them. I'm pretty sure the servers are correct but I can't see anything about SSL. Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.aol.com Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.aol.com Make sure SSL encryption is enabled for the incoming and outgoing mail server. Was able to recently move to the AOL servers with a pop account and configuration. Not so with IMAP. After much effort, was able to move off the Verizon servers and get the incoming and outgoing to take.
